What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Having stage 3 A CKD/ MS I was told I would never be able to have children, then I got pregnant with my daughter. It was a very difficult pregnancy and she is perfectly healthy, she is the best thing I could have done in my lifetime. She is kind, brilliant and talented and I am honored to be able to be her mother. She is incredibly understanding about my disability, kind in helping me and pushes me to do things I never thought I could do before. She is my inspiration and very proud of her.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That it is a privilege to give life, you can help develop a child to make the world a better place with kindness and acceptance. It is the hardest job but very rewarding even when times are difficult, especially as I had her alone and a true single mother with a disability. My daughter has made me a better person, taught what unconditional true love is, boundaries, acceptance, and that anything is possible with determination. It is taught me I can be strong enough no matter what situation.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use part of the money to buy a house for my daughter and myself to give us a better life and a small portion to travel overseas to spend time together as I was never able to afford either, we just dream and manifest one day for it to come true and I am well enough to do both together. I am very grateful for the opportunity for my story to be told and considered.
