Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The best part of being a mom is seeing life through their eyes and to see who they are turning into. I absolutely love when I get a message of my kids showing compassion, being kind to those around or sticking up for someone even when we are not around. Their hearts are big and continue to surprise me.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned having kids is that I am stronger than I thought. Being a mom is just simply hard. You worry about everything, you are constantly multitasking and frankly just trying to raise kind humans. It’s hard and there are days that giving up would be easiest, especially in life’s storms but I am strong enough to weather it, especially because I am leaning into Gods words and his promises for our lives.

What would you do with $20,000?

Right now we are looking at doing alternative treatment for my husband. I would either spend the money on that- or activities and additional small trips to make memories. Our world completely changed in October of last year and being more intentional with our time as a family is most important. One thing we are doing is visiting every baseball stadium so maybe a stadium trip would be in the making!
