Mom of 3, full-time job, school, health battles—still present, still strong, still showing up.
We would like to thank you for supporting Isabel Gasca in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is being the safe place for all three of my boys. Through every game, milestone, and even my middle son’s health challenges, I get to be their strength, comfort, and constant. Watching each of them grow, smile, and keep going reminds me that every sacrifice is worth it. Knowing they feel loved, protected, and never alone, that’s everything to me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that strength isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about showing up, even on the hardest days. It’s taught me patience, resilience, and how to put love into action. Through challenges, especially with my son’s health, I’ve learned to stay grounded, to fight for my family, and to appreciate every moment. Being a mom has shown me that love is the greatest strength I have.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to pay off medical bills for my son and myself, along with household bills, easing a major financial burden. It would also help cover my kids’ activities like sports, so they can continue growing and doing what they love without added stress.
