Embracing both the good times and the challenging ones allows me to be fully present in their lives. I never expect perfection from my children. I’m simply grateful to be raising kind, empathetic and loving human beings.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. It’s taught me to be quick to listen and slow to speak and always listen with my whole heart, not just my ears.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would split it between a family vacation to give my children the memories they’ve been asking for and paying off credit card debt to ease stress while we are in transition. I would also use a small portion for my daughter’s first car. It would be about making life a little lighter and brighter for all of us.
