You realize quickly that plans don’t always go how you expect, kids have their own personalities, and some days you’re just doing your best to get through. And that’s okay. I had $20,000 , I’d treat it like a chance to create stability, security, and a better future. Build a safety net set aside 6-10 thousand in an emergency fund, clean up and debt, secure reliable transportation, strengthen my living situation and put money into my child’s college fund and savings account.
