Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my daughter use the phrases and lessons we teach at home out in the world. She is outspoken, but intensely empathetic, always looking to comfort anyone who is upset at a playground or playgroup/activity. We hear her use phrases like "everyone falls down," "here's some calm, cool and collected," and "it's okay to make a mess, as long as we clean up!" She will also tell you that "you're doing a great job!" That you have "really cool ideas" and that you "made a good choice!" ♥️

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has been a lot more self reflection and growth than I expected! But being patient with yourself, giving yourself time and being open and honest about everything going on so that you are able to help other moms has been a big take away for me. I want to set an example of self care for my daughter and be emotionally open so that we are always comfortable to talk about anything if she needs/wants and set an example of caring for others without taking on too much!

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband works hard so that we can afford me staying home with our daughter, it is something we really wanted to make work as long as we could until she goes to school! $20,000 would help us put her into more activities and could be something that we put aside for a family vacation! We would also love to look into getting a house in the next few years so that we would have a backyard to play in and this would help with savings for sure!
