Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is being the "mirror" for my children. As a Master’s student, I study the systems that try to limit families, but as a mother, I get to watch my children refuse those limits. Seeing my son stand up for himself or my daughter dream of leadership is my "Net-Resource." Knowing that they see a mother who fights for her dignity and builds her own business teaches them that they are the architects of their own lives. Their joy is my victory.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that resilience isn't about never breaking; it’s about the courage to pause, heal, and rebuild. I learned that I cannot pour from an empty cup—to be their hero, I had to learn to be my own first. It taught me to navigate "Administrative Burdens" with grace and to model for my kids that our worth is not defined by a job title or a struggle, but by our ability to reclaim our agency and keep choosing love over exhaustion.

This is my "Seed of Sovereignty." First, I would secure a home with a washer and dryer—a move toward "Time Autonomy" that restores the hours of dignity lost to the laundromat. Second, I would scale my boutique, investing in inventory and marketing to turn my passion into a sustainable engine for our independence.
