Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing I have the opportunity to pour into my children and teach them love and compassion for a better tomorrow means everything to me. Hearing another parent recognize my child’s kindness is deeply rewarding, it reassures me that I’m guiding them toward what truly matters in life.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Childhood loss became my greatest teacher in motherhood, reminding me never to take a single day for granted with the two blessings I am privileged to guide through life. It humbled me, shaping me into a more intentional and compassionate parent, one who chooses battles wisely, embraces laughter more often, and lets go of what doesn’t truly matter, focusing instead on love, patience, and presence each day.

What would you do with $20,000?

I am currently in my final semester of nursing school, working toward my BSN-RN license. I would use the $20,000 to pay off my remaining tuition, allowing me to graduate with less financial burden and focus fully on starting my nursing career.
