What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My 2 children have already achieved great success in their young lives & I believe it’s because I taught them to lead by example & I give myself credit for being a LEADER & teaching them to be responsible, respectful & hardworking and to overcome obstacles in life as they have seen me overcome so many.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Listen, talk & pay attention to whom your children are surrounded by. I am a Proud Survivor of the USA Gymnastics sexual abuse scandal. I was abused as child while training under Bela & Marta Karolyi and myself & my teammates fought hard for nearly a decade to bring these “monsters” to justice & we succeeded! I am proud to say I not only helped my own children; but thousands of other children by coming forward & letting my voice be heard; all while raising my kids as a single mom.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use this $ to help pay for college tuition for my daughter; a student at TexasA&M ;maintains a 4.0 GPA; works at her church; & on Texas A&M competitive Cheer team. My son maintains a nearly straight A average as a junior in HighSchool& a member of his Highschool tennis team along with working 20-30 hours at ChickFilA. With this $20,000, I would use it to purchase my son a vehicle so he & I don’t have to share one for both of us to get to work as well as him to school.
