We would like to thank you for supporting Hayley Loretto in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part about being a mom is seeing your kids be kind and caring towards others. In this world as we know it, we have to raise kids to love others regardless of what makes them different. When I see or hear my kids doing that, I know I’m doing it right and that matters to me!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that imperfection is okay and to let the little things go. I’ve found that when I put too much pressure on myself, my kids feel it too and that doesn’t help anyone! As long as my kids are smiling, laughing, have full bellies and are happy, that’s what matters most!
What would you do with $20,000?With 20,000 my family could upgrade our home. We currently live in a 3 bedroom home and I would LOVE to give my girls their own bedroom. Right now they are cramped in a small bedroom and it’s not enough space for them to each have their own dressers or closets. Another way I could also use this money is to pay off most of my masters degree. I just want to give my kids the best that I can, this money would help us to do that!
