Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is to see my children succeed. To know that despite all of my mess ups, they have flourished and have become these incredible individuals that make mistakes yet they never give up in the pursuit of excellence.They are kind, good&their souls love Jesus. They lead others.I know ultimately when I see them worshiping the Father in Heaven years after I am already there,I know I will have successfully been a good mother. The grace they show me daily is a gift I do not deserve.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

We blink an eye&they are crossing the room tumbling&another blink they are crossing the stage embarking on a journey into the unknown.I am reminded of this scripture when I think of how a mother would want to be remembered,2 Timothy 1:5. I long for this to be the thoughts of my children.That they look to me&are reminded of my sincere faith&that they followed instruction&mimicked my ways, because I long to mimic the ways of the Father. That they know how much I love them even when I don’t show it

What would you do with $20,000?

I cannot fathom the thought of $20,000 and what good I could do in our small rural community with a title one school. service is our ministry. I would bless others with the money, help with transportation to work for others pay power bills for others. Support our Christmas ministry. Money means nothing if we have allowed it to become our god. The gift is to be able to give it back.
