Unconditional love. The love I have for them no matter how crazy they make me sometimes. It’s like getting a glimpse into how much God must love us as his children even when we do everything wrong. The grace that is needed. To experience that first hand is a reward on its own. And I also LOVE watching that “ah ha!” moment when they figure something out or something finally clicks; it’s rewarding seeing them be proud of themselves— priceless.

Embrace the chaos of having 3 young children with wildly different personalities and, no matter what happens, praise the Lord for his blessings in your life. Oh, the house is in shambles from a week of homeschooling, making meals, playing non-stop, and potty training while also working from home? THANK YOU LORD for blessing me with this house, this food, this job that allows me to be home with the kids and responsible for their education. THANK YOU for all 800 daily messes and endless hugs.

First I would give a portion to our church and pay down some debts to relieve some stress. The rest I would probably put in savings for the kids, us, and our families for all of life’s “in cases” that are bound to occur whether it be medical expenses or a car needing to be fixed. It would be nice for us all to actually have some funds to fall back on when needed.
