Being a mom is a blessing I don’t take for granted. It gives me purpose and mission. Raising faithful, respectful, kind, funny, crafty, intelligent kids is a blast. It comes with challenges of course, but when you see the hard work, the tears, the sleepless nights, all of it, pay off? Or hear how they’re impacting those around them, that’s when you know you’re doing this mom thing right.

How to live life to the fullest, but glorify God while you do it! When my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, we knew we had to make as many memories as we could and honor God through the heartache and hope. Learning how to live in the now, while anticipating an unknown, scary outcome, became my full time job. You can find joy if you choose to. There’s always something to be grateful for.

I would like to be able to stay home while my youngest two are still little and not in school, and figure out what I’m good at. My husband believed I could be a photographer, so I’d like to invest in a good camera, some classes, equipment and pursue the dream he knew I had but couldn’t find the time to chase.
