Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The best part about being a mom is being able to create joy in the lives of my children. I want them to grow up with hope, love, and faith. Knowing that I can provide that for them is the greatest honor. Seeing the world through their eyes is truly magical. There is nothing greater than being able to give them the beautiful childhood they deserve, full of wonder and happiness. When I hear their laughs, see their smiles, and witness magic through their eyes, it makes it all worth it!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to NEVER take anything for granted. Nothing is ever promised in this life, so I’ve learned to enjoy every moment. Dishes will always be there, laundry can wait, but watching my children play, hearing their laughs, seeing their joy… those little moments are priceless. Being a mom is hard, but it’s the simple, yet beautiful moments in time that make it all worth it. I’ve learned to slow down and enjoy the little things, because one day, they will mean everything.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were lucky enough to receive this money, I would use it to help our family buy a home, by putting a downpayment on a house. Our plan was to purchase one, but with all the medical costs that come with Cystic Fibrosis we never have been able too. This money would provide a way for my family to finally have a home of our own. It would allow me to give my children the childhood they deserve!
