Learning to grow in unconditional love. Children don’t have to work our love; it’s freely given. That concept is what will change the world for our future children. Unconditional love is the most powerful aspect of motherhood.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It has taught me patience, resilience, and that a mother’s love is one of a kind. I have to work to be patient, year by year I have learned and grown in resilience, but loving my kids was never something I had to work hard it. It’s just embedded in my soul to love them with all that I have. Having a 6 year old daughter with Down syndrome continually teaches me patience. I am so proud of the patient mother I have become. That skill is priceless and a huge contributor to why I am such a good mama.
What would you do with $20,000?I would make my family farm more handicap accessible. Our farm is open to all a with a big emphasis on serving the special needs and people of all abilities. Adding all ability features such as ramps and mobility device friendly pathways would allow everyone a chance to interact with our sweet farm animals… including my daughter, Olive.
