The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children grow into kind, strong, and loving individuals. As a mom of six and a grandma, every sacrifice, late night, and challenge has been worth it. Even through hardships like T1D, I see their resilience shine. Being their safe place, their support, and their biggest cheerleader gives my life deep purpose. My strength comes from the Lord, and through Him I find the patience, love, and courage to keep showing up every day.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that love is an action, not just a feeling. It means showing up every day, even when I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure. It has taught me patience, humility, and how to put others before myself while still growing as a person. I’ve learned to trust God more, release control, and understand that the little everyday moments often become the most meaningful memories.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would put a down payment on a bigger home of our own so our children have more space and feel more comfortable. We would also help our two oldest daughters get a car & a service dog for our daughter with T1D. The remaining amount would go toward paying off debt, giving us more stability and peace of mind. This would allow us to focus more on our family, our future, and continuing to build a secure and loving home together.
