Balancing a full-time career as a store manager with the beautiful chaos of raising my three children.
We would like to thank you for supporting Gabrielle Barnes in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
This season of my life is the busiest, yet the most rewarding. Like many working moms, I often wish I could slow time down just a little—to be more present and soak in every moment with my kids. My days off are rarely quiet; they’re filled with practices, games, and events. My 11-year-old is involved in just about every sport you can imagine, while my oldest, now a freshman, is dedicated to her high school dance team. And my youngest? He’s full of energy and personality, keeping me on my toes.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Being a “super mom” to me doesn’t mean having it all perfectly balanced—it means showing up, even when I’m tired. It means supporting my kids’ passions, creating a home filled with love, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. My children have given my life a deeper sense of purpose. They inspire me daily to keep pushing forward, to be resilient, and to strive to be the best version of myself.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love the ability to go on a family cruise or vacation. One that I’m not stressed about what bills I’ll be behind if I plan. I want to just enjoy my family and be present. The ability to enjoy their childhood with them and create core memories.
