Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Oh gosh, seeing them grow up and become creative and so smart is rewarding enough. Some parents don't get the chance to see their kids develop and that makes me sad. I am thankful everyday for getting to experience so many life changes with them. They are both the most kind hearted boys and I wouldn't want anything less.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Patience and a lot of it. I didn't realize how much I needed to give myself more time with things until I had my boys. Everyday I am learning how to properly express myself with them so they can also understand their feelings and emotions too. I want to teach them to be able to handle things when they get tough, and help them understand that change is inevitable, we just have to take a breath and let it play out by itself sometimes.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would absolutely LOVE to take my family out of state, we love to travel but it's so expensive.. especially living paycheck to paycheck. This would go towards being able to have a good time, try something new. I would be able to enjoy the time where we are, knowing I have the money to give my kids the best memories! But also I would pay off some debts so I could have more money to be able to do more things with my kids. I could also put some starting money into their funds for when they turn 18
