Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love the way my children look up to me, when I get to share daily thoughts & their way of thinking. I want them to grow up to be the best version of themselves, being loving, kind, humble, but overall happy. Seeing little versions of me & my husband is a beautiful & rewarding feeling because we have created smaller versions of ourselves. As their mom, I want them to feel loved & cherish each moment w/their siblings & want them to share that same love & memories when they start their family

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I once said I never wanted kids, my parents separated when I was 8, & truly it was painful. I saw my mother raise 4 kids on her own strength, double shifts, late nights, we even slept in the van while she worked. Now that I am a mom, I understand how she did it, the strength she drew from was US! I learned my kids are my strength, my drive, the reason I wake up trying to be a better version of myself daily, to show them no matter what I won’t quit, just like my mom showed me & loved us

What would you do with $20,000?

I would honestly divide it between the kids. Put it in a savings account and help them start an investment account for when they get older. I have always wanted a to do something like that, but life hasn’t always been easy, I would invest that back into my kids for their future
