Seeing the absolute joy in my girls’ eyes as the discover the world. They are excited about small things, and the big things. Fireworks, leaves, planes, a Hershey’s Kiss all have new and big meanings as a mom. I love seeing them be kind and funny, and friendly. Knowing I’m raising kind, brave, strong humans is so rewarding. Being kind & generous to others and maintaining your voice is so very needed in our society. I’m so proud of my girls for how they embody this.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I am a Type A personality, and being a mother has taught me to embrace being Type B personality. I’ve learned to relax more, embrace chaos, and check myself when I have my own “big feelings.”
What would you do with $20,000?Donate to local schools. My mom was a teacher, and I always admired her passion for teaching. Our girls LOVE school. I want to give to an area that enriches other children, and helps teachers as well. I want to ease a burden so other kids can enjoy school like our girls do.
