The most rewarding part of being a mom is the small everyday moments. Watching my kids grow into who they are, seeing what they love and work hard at, and when they start making good choices or show kindness without being asked. Being a mom isn’t easy, it’s full of sacrifices and highs and lows, but those moments are everything and remind me why it all matters.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that I can’t control everything, but I can control how I show up. My kids are always watching, and that’s pushed me to be more patient, more present, and lead by example even on the hard days. There are days I make mistakes, and my kids see that, but I’ve learned to give myself grace and know they don’t need me to be perfect, just to love them no matter what.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, to be honest, I would take care of some small debt to start, but most importantly I would invest it into our home. We’ve lived there for 10 years and have never truly made it our own. We’ve always pieced things together and had a bit of chaos, and this would allow us to clean things up and create a space that truly feels like home. I’d finally be able to create spaces for my kids that feel settled, personal, and truly ours.
