Something that just makes my heart swell with joy is hearing the statement “You have really great kids.” I have always thought my kids were great, but acknowledgement from the various people they encounter is really the most rewarding part for me. Knowing I’ve raised kind and respectful humans that will do good in the world is what it’s all about!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Learn to go with the flow. Whatever interests or hobbies, or competitive sports you think your kids will excel at, be prepared to re-route. Some interests I had in common with my children and thought “Great! This will be their thing and I have the knowledge to help them excel at it!” And then they find a new interest that I have zero knowledge in. But you can see their passion for it. So, re-route, give them your blessing to pursue it wholeheartedly, and just go with the flow!
What would you do with $20,000?Having the extra money to further invest in my children would be so beneficial. It would mean sending them to camps they want to attend, investing it for future education, and maybe a family vacation that’s more than 3 days long.
