Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

It’s hard to choose because I’m deeply in love with motherhood. Even the hard moments feel meaningful because they shape me and help me grow. But the most rewarding part is the unconditional love between a mother and her child. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced, and knowing I get to break generational cycles and raise my children in a way I once needed myself.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that love is the most powerful thing in this world, no matter our age. When I lead with love (even in discipline) my children respond in the most meaningful ways. It’s shown me that at our core, we all just want to be loved, encouraged, and understood. We need kindness, grace when we fall short, and support when we need it most. It’s not just how I want to raise my children, but how I want to show up for everyone.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest it into the business I created for moms and those seeking growth. After being laid off at 9 months pregnant, I built a brand that uses fashion for good: functional, 100% cotton pieces designed with a “mom brain.” More importantly, we host free community events with expert speakers on mental health, parenting, financial literacy & more. This would allow me to expand these events to more cities and keep them free, because access to knowledge should never be a privilege.
