What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The greatest reward of being a Mom is knowing that my children did not inherit my pain they inherited my strength. I was a victim of trafficking, exploitation, and emotional abuse, yet I made a decision that my circumstances would not define the outcome of my children’s lives. Even in my lowest moments, I showed up. I protected, I provided, and I loved them through situations that were meant to break me. Each child represents a chapter and I stood firm in those pages of ever pages.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood taught me is the importance of healing, so I would not bleed on my children.I have experienced pain, trauma, and circumstances that could have easily shaped the way I loved and raised my children. But motherhood showed me that it was my responsibility to confront what hurt me, so I would not pass that pain down to them. I made a decision that my children would not carry the weight of what I went through. Even when I was still healing, I chose to love them through.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I am awarded the $20,000, I would invest it into building and expanding a movement focused on helping trafficked and exploited children, as well as supporting low-income families who need assistance with basic necessities. This investment would not only change my life, but it would allow me to change the lives of others. My goal is to turn my story into a platform that brings awareness, resources, and restoration to those who feel like they have no way out. My plan is to use the funds to start
