The most rewarding thing as a mom is, watching my daughter get through some hard times and succeed. My daughter is on the high end of the Autism Spectrum. I am proud to call her my daughter.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson I have learned from being a mom is that life is not always going to go as planned, but the hand you're dealt is a new plan, that might be a different mountain to climb. When the plan changes you learn that you're a better person because you have to adapt to what is given to you. I have fought for the best for almost 21 years for my daughter. She came in fighting, being born a month early, to today having to learn how to live as an adult. Cheering her on all the way.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $ 20,000 I would definitely donate some to Melanoma Research, I lost my mom when I was 25 years old to a 15 year battle of this skin cancer. I would pay some medical bills off. I would take some time off work to focus on me so that I can be a better wife and mother. The rest I would put into savings.
