You work your whole life to see the beauty in yourself, until you become a mother and it stares right back at you. My children are my brightest light, I’m just happy to live in their sunshine. They remind me that joy will always grow, love exists in the most surprising places, and strength is found through little moments of every day.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?My first daughter wasn’t planned, but her birth saved my life my leading to my MS diagnosis. Through her, I was able to see that every experience on this Earth can be a blessing. Trials can be sacred if you let them, and because of my children, I am stronger than I ever imagined.
What would you do with $20,000?My children have taught me that sight, smell, and our ability to feel are such incredible blessings. I would give a piece of that magic back to them by using some of the money to start a cut-flower garden. Something we could tend together and share with our community. I would use the remainder of the money to build financial stability for our family.
