The best part of being a mom is watching her get excited about everything new and seeing how proud she is when she figures something out. It makes you slow down and notice the little things in a way you didn’t before. And honestly, a big toddler hug can fix almost anything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is how important the right people in your village are. It’s also shown me how much parenting can shape you, for better or worse. For me, it’s made me slow down and really appreciate the small moments, and realize not everything has to be perfect to be meaningful. It’s pushed me to trust myself more and show up in ways I didn’t know I was capable of. Doing this on my own has been a reminder of how strong and independent I really am.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use it to rebuild the stability we lost over the past year and create a stronger foundation for Riley. A portion would go into savings for her future, and honestly, I’d set a little aside for a small trip for us. We’ve been through a lot, and I’d love to give her a happy memory that’s just ours.
