The best way I can sum it up is this: I grow by watching him grow. From the sidelines, I cheer as his independence takes shape. Figuring things out on his own, teaching his friends, and finding confidence in who he is. I watch his curiosity lead him to explore, to try, to fail, and to try again. In those moments, he isn’t just growing, he’s quietly teaching me to do the same.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me to slow down. The chores can wait, but these moments can’t. The time our kids are home with us is so brief in the grand scheme of their lives. Being present, truly present, matters more than a perfectly finished to-do list. In the end, it’s not what I got done that counts, but the time I gave them.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would start by investing some, put some in my son’s college savings account, and the remainder will go towards buying a home with a big yard we can make countless memories in.
