The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children grow into my closest friends while truly appreciating the life we share. Through challenges—competitive swimming, my cancer, single motherhood, and an ADHD diagnosis—they’ve built strength and character. Seeing them thrive, make positive choices, and pursue their paths fills me with pride. Our bond, shaped by resilience and patience, continues to deepen every day.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It taught me to rise each morning with a positive mindset and keep pushing forward, no matter how I feel. It showed me the importance of always supporting my children and standing by them in everything they pursue. Our family motto is: “We can beat anything together—even cancer.”
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, I’d use it with intention. I’d pay off high-interest debt and invest a portion to support my youngest son’s college education at Adelphi University.
