Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is getting to shape my child’s world. All while balancing a full time career from home. I am present for his giggles, milestones, and everyday moments, watching his personality grow as I teach him sign language and help him reach milestones like crawling and first steps. As a young first time mom, I multitask to give him an active, loving life. I’m intentional about making him feel safe, seen, and so deeply loved.This balance is my Super Mom strength.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that my son doesn’t need a perfect mom—just a present, loving one! Born a preemie, our bond has only grown stronger through breastfeeding, every cry, and every moment he needs me. He’s made for me, and our connection has shown me my strength & resilience. I show up and do my best, and that is what matters. I’m learning as I go,growing alongside my son, giving him love,patience,and consistency.I’m not perfect, but I’m proud of the mom I choose to be.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a first-time working mom, I would use the $20K to build both memories and stability for my son. I’d take a family trip so we can create lifelong memories together, then put the rest toward a down payment on a home where we can finally grow out of our small apartment and into a space that fits our future. I would also set aside part for emergency savings, and essential baby needs, so I can keep working while giving our family security, & peace of mind. Everything I do is for him and my family.
