Seeing their eyes of wonder, learning, growing together each day, and listening to them as they take on their own personalities, illuminates my heart with love. I am so grateful for the gift of motherhood. Now, as a mature mom of 8 and Glam-Ma to 17 grandchildren, I mentor others along the path of motherhood. My podcasts, WOW MOM, and my Bible study, WOW MOM, A Walk with God, are ways I do this. Motherhood is the most important job you will do. You are forming the next generation.

Expect the unexpected, listen with your heart, and always show up when they need you are some lessons I have learned. The biggest lesson is that all moms are different, and each child is different; never judge or compare. Everyone is doing the best job they can. So, when encountering other mothers, lead with kindness and bring along your best cheerleader voice, with the words "Great Job, Mom!" ever ready on your lips. Motherhood is the adventure of a lifetime. It will change forever.

My son and his wife lost their baby at 36 weeks due to a placental abruption. It resulted in an emergency C-section. We are all heartbroken. We will bury Angel Amber this week. Life is a miracle. We are never guaranteed how long we can hold our little ones; they are on loan to us from heaven. Our daughter-in-law, Kendra's "mother love," was strong enough to hold her baby girl for a moment. With tears in their eyes, Sean and Kendra said their final goodbye! 20,000 would go to them.
