The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children grow and overcome challenges. As a single mom, especially raising a child with cerebral palsy, every small milestone feels like a huge victory. Seeing their strength, resilience, and happiness reminds me that every sacrifice is worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that true strength comes from love and resilience. As a single mom, especially raising a child with disabilities, I’ve learned patience, sacrifice, and how to keep going even on the hardest days. It’s shown me that I am stronger than I ever imagined.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to help purchase an accessible van for my child with cerebral palsy. Lifting his wheelchair daily has taken a toll on my back, and a van would make transportation safer and easier for both of us. It would give us more independence, reduce physical strain, and allow me to care for him better every day.
