Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I have 4 children, and each one is a true reflection of who I helped mold. First, they know Jesus, two of them having a wonderful spiritual closeness to the Lord and the younger 2 that go to them for guidance and support! That alone is so endearing to me! They all have a passion for food and cooking, and I look forward to their calls about what they are cooking up! And that gumption & drive they have to do well in Life, and serve others that are in need; Makes my heart So Happy!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I was a very young mom, with much learning to do, indeed, but my lesson most valued is realizing that even though my challenges of being a single mom got me down at times, I still guided them the best I knew how, to handle what they would face in life with courage and resilience! We went thru a tough divorce & I was separated from my children for a time, yet here they are, carrying such strength and wisdom and LOVE, for me and for each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

Well, I've been dreaming of going to Tuscany, to experience cooking delicious food with true Italians! I'd most likely do that first with my babies, then put the rest towards my forever home that I'm working on right now; moving my Veteran father out to the Farm with me, restoring the building my granddad built for my grandma; it was like her She-Shed, but it will be my home :)
