The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your dreams come true in every form. Some of the greatest moments as a mom grew out of hard places, places my kids evolved, where they proved to be incredible individuals. I have loved my kids in all stages of their lives and watching them spread love to the world is truly something I am in awe of.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The plans you have for your kids will be the boundaries they face in the future. I had this preconceived notion that I knew best. I quickly realized my perfectly laid plans may not be what my kids want, and the more I pushed my plans the more they pushed back. I learned that the greatest thing a parent can have is children who can express who they truly want to be. I am so proud of who my kids have chosen to be, and I hope one day they will look at their mom as their biggest supporter.
What would you do with $20,000?My minivan (the one I swore I would NEVER drive) just rolled 300,000 miles. I would use the $20,000 towards a new van. I work part time so that I am able to be with my kids whenever they need me so being able to not have a car payment would be a huge blessing to our family.
