The amount of gratitude it brings you. I am so grateful to be their mother and to be present in their lives. Having a terminal illness puts a lot of things into perspective and it has brought me even closer to my boys. I also honor my daughter whom I lost when I was 5 months pregnant. This is a gift that keeps on giving. I learn from them everyday and they make me a better person.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’ve learned to embrace more calmness. I no longer care about managing 2-3 jobs. I want to be there for every moment and cherish every second with them while I still can.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to make memories with my boys while I still can. They really want to experience Universal Studios and the rest I would probably leave for their college funds. I doubt that I will still be here when it’s time for them to go off to college but I would love for them to know that their mama contributed to their goals and dreams.
