I’m writing this on behalf of Edye. No matter what she is there for her kids even when it’s rough for her. She is definitely a super mom!
We would like to thank you for supporting Edye Raines in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
For Edye it is the fact that she was able to even have kids after she went through a horrible tragedy. She will do anything for her kids. Edye is the mother to 3 son's and 1 daughter. Edye had a tragic start to motherhood, her sons Chase and Colton were killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. She is probably the most positive person I have ever met! She has taken something so tragic and turned it into love for her son and daughter. Even on her toughest day she is positive!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?She has definitely been taught that kids have to experience life on their own. They are the most independent self made kids that you have met. Emjay is about to graduate the University of Arkansas with a degree in finance. Glenn is more of a hands on person and is experiencing life on his own terms
What would you do with $20,000?Edye is now a horse dentist and would love to purchase a sprinter van. She travels the country doing horse teeth and this would make life a little bit easier on her.
