We would like to thank you for supporting Ebony Daley in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to see my daughter grow into a strong independent woman and have children of her own. I’m thankful to be an active part of my grandkids life. All of my teenaged life was direct without my mother due to her passing away. She never got to see her children grow up, graduate or have kids and so it’s very important to me to help my daughter with her children. I feel blessed.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood taught me is that you truly do need a village! It’s taught me patience, unconditional love, compassion and understanding. It’s not easy being a mother and I’ve had my share of soul breaking moments but, I wouldn’t change any part of it. I learned to be resilient and stronger for my daughter and myself. Motherhood has taught me to be present in every moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

20,000 would allow me to put a down payment on my first home and allow me to get a vehicle of my own. I would also start account for my two grandchildren as well as help my daughter.
