What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to provide for them, make memories, make art, go on hikes, swimming at lakes, going to concerts, or traveling. My children are my world and I want what’s best for them and want them to be happy. I try my hardest to make that possible everyday. Family time is very important to me and being apart of their life and listening to them. Children are bright and deserve our full attention. I love making delicious meals for them that are healthy and satisfying. I love the unconditionally.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

It has taught me patience and to listen and understand from their perspective. Life likes to throw curve balls and bumps along the road. It’s our job as a mother to handle these obstacles to the best of our ability to overcome those battles, big and small. Our little humans depend on us and look up to us and observe everything we do and say. We brought them into this world and even though some of us didn’t have a great upbringing, it’s our job to break that cycle, relearn and teach them.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off some debt and put a down payment on a home for me and my boys. Currently we live in a two bed room apartment. Would love a three bedroom with a big yard to have family gatherings and make delicious BBQ’s to feed everyone and play games with the kids. They deserve their own space and a happy family to share moments with. It’s the little things that really matter. We have to stop and enjoy the roses every now and then. “)
