Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching your children succeed, even through tough times. Knowing that even though you cannot change things you can still love them through it. Being a Mom isn't easy all the time. But it's an honor to teach your children about success and failures and that failures don't define you. Watch your kids treat other people with kindness and respect even when they're going through hard things is something that's hard to put into words. I think my biggest reward is getting to be part of their lives.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that not everything is in my circle of control. That as much as I want things for my children sometimes they don't want the same thing things I want for them & that's OK. The best I can do is to love the children that I have just as they are and not as I wanted them to be. They can each have their own definition of success and I can still love them as just as they are.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd love to take a Disney cruise with my family with the money or go someplace just to watch them have fun with each other. Really create a special memory a moment in time that they could never forget. Not being financially practical just enjoying the time and moments together.
