The most rewarding part of being a mom, for me, is knowing that everything I do is shaping a better future for my children. Watching them grow, learn, and become strong, kind individuals makes every sacrifice worth it. It’s especially meaningful to know that my journey—from coming to this country at a young age, to going back to school, to working hard to support my family—is not just for me, but for them. I get to show my children what strength, perseverance, and faith look like in real life.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Before becoming a mom, I didn’t fully understand how much I could endure, sacrifice, and still keep going. Raising three children while going back to school, building a career, and supporting my family showed me that real strength is not about being perfect—it’s about showing up every single day, even when you’re tired, overwhelmed, or uncertain. Motherhood also taught me purpose. Everything I do now has meaning beyond myself. It has taught me a love that gives without expecting.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were given $20,000, I would use it to create a stronger and more secure future for my children and my family. I would invest in my children’s education—setting aside funds for their schooling and future opportunities, so they can grow without limitations. Education changed my life, and I want them to have even more opportunities than I did.
