The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing your children quietly choose kindness, empathy, and integrity on their own. Even in small moments, when they care for others or do what’s right without recognition, you see something enduring grow within them and that makes everything worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood taught me that love and loss can exist at the same time, and that loving deeply means accepting you may also grieve deeply. Through experiencing the loss of my firstborn baby, I learned how fragile life is so I choose to be present for those I love and give more to those who need it. I know that even in loss, love doesn’t disappear—it changes form and continues on.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use $20,000 to save for my children’s future and give a portion to causes I have been donating annually to like Miracle Babies and Ronald McDonald House. I would also like to reserve a small part for a meaningful family experience.
