Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my kids become who God intends them to be. Whether that be supporting them through difficult situations or guiding them when life presents experiences that are not easy to handle on their own, seeing them get through those situations and experiences knowing that I have somehow helped them is very rewarding. Also providing them with a safe haven where they are allowed to be themselves at home is very rewarding.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me what it really means to be selfless and how to love unconditionally. It has shown me strength that I never knew I had all while breaking parts of me I never knew existed. Finding myself all while trying to nurture and help develop my children has been a lesson that has proven over and over again to be the biggest one. Understanding that each of my kids is different and each one's needs are different has been a challenge and a blessing all in one.

What would you do with $20,000?

Being a stay-at-home mom while my husband works full-time has proven to be hard financially especially here lately. With the $20,000 I would pay off some debt we have acquired and stash some away for our oldest who will be attending college in 2027. Sacrificing a second paycheck has not always been easy but it meant that we have relied on our faith that God would take care of us as having me home raising our children is a huge priority for us.
