The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids shine with their own special talents. It also gives me great joy to see them helping others less fortunate than us. It makes me feel elated to know I have modeled and instilled responsibilities and selfless behaviors into both of my "almost" adult children.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood taught me that raising kids is like conducting one big science experiment. There is nobody who does it 100% right. It takes trial and error to know just the right thing to say, or just the right advice to give. Motherhood has humbled me because I know that I have been wrong and some of the decisions I have made when raising my kids have not been the correct ones. It also taught me that there is no stronger love than a mother has for her children. It taught me a new sense of pride.
