The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my child grow. Just the absolute joy and love and light and individual personality that comes from this other human being that I had the honor and privilege by God to bring into this world. I’m rewarded and overwhelmed and overjoyed by their sheer existence.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that the sacrifice is worth it. The hard work, the sleepless nights, the dying to myself daily to take care of another is all absolutely worth it and brings me closer to the Lord and on my knees before Him each day. Motherhood is hard, holy, and refining and teaches me about God’s unconditional love for us every day.
What would you do with $20,000?We would save it and maybe use it towards a down payment on a house for our family. I have a chronic illness and cannot work, but I mother full time, so we are a one income family in an expensive economy. It would really bless us to receive money like that and we would ultimately pray about what God wants us to do with it.
