I get to have my son alive and thriving despite his challenges. I get to see his milestones. I feel lucky to be his mom. I spend most of my time in the nicu with my son. I live 3 hours away from home.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?My son has taught me what true patience, kindness, resilience, and strength looks like everyday. When I feel like giving up or when life feels too hard, I look at my son, I look at how much he has to fight and wants to fight to be here. He is my every reason im fighting too.
What would you do with $20,000?My son has to spend another year in the hospital. We are permantly moving to where his care is out of state. He has to be at a hospital that supports his Chronic Lung Disease long term until he is 2 years old. This money would help us financially be okay and have less worry about where we will live.
