The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing my children get a version of me I had to fight to become. There was a time I wasn’t sure I’d be this woman, this mother. But through my sobriety journey, I found my way back—and now they get a present, loving, and strong mom every single day. Hearing them laugh, feeling their hugs, and knowing they feel safe with me… that’s everything. That’s my why.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that sometimes you have to save your own life so your children can have theirs. There was a time I didn’t recognize myself, but through my sobriety journey, I fought my way back—for them. It taught me that being present matters more than being perfect, and that real love shows up every single day, no matter how hard it is. Now my children get a mom who didn’t give up… and that means everything.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 wouldn’t just be a blessing—it would be a turning point. It would help me break out of living paycheck to paycheck and finally breathe, knowing my children have everything they need without me scraping to make ends meet. I’d invest in finishing my degree and growing my business so I can build real stability, not just survive. This would change everything—not just for me, but for my children’s future.
