Register for FreeThe most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing what your children have become. Although my kids are grown, mostly, I get to watch them grow into the adults that they are becoming. I couldn’t be prouder of my kids. I have two kids that I take full credit for and two that I give the credit to their own super mom, that I was blessed to call my own as well. The biggest reward is seeing the kindness that these grown-ups are spreading in this world.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Mistakes are a huge part of success. I tried to mother all my kids the same, that was a mistake. But seeing the mistake, admitting the mistake and moving through that has made my relationships with them so much better. We can’t be perfect parents we can only be as close to perfect for each specific child. I couldn’t give them money so all I can give them is me. They all still have all of me.
What would you do with $20,000?All of my kids could use a little of that money just to help them with the things that they are working on right now. And then the baby of the family will be getting married soon and it would go towards that.
