The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my children feel deeply loved, safe, and seen no matter what life brings. My daughter’s disability has taught me that even the smallest victories are huge, and being her comfort, strength, and advocate is the greatest honor of my life. Motherhood has shown me a love so powerful it turns pain into purpose and hard days into hope.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that strength isn’t loud..it’s quiet, consistent, and relentless. It’s showing up every day, even when you’re exhausted or scared. My daughter’s condition taught me patience, advocacy, and how to fight with grace. I’ve learned that love can carry you through things you never imagined you could survive.
What would you do with $20,000?I would donate 100% of the $20,000 to my nonprofit, Flora’s Garden, to fund a pre-clinical trial for a rare disease my daughter lives with. This funding would bring us closer to real treatment and hope, not just for her, but for families around the world who are still waiting for answers.
