The most rewarding part is watching strength grow where it shouldn’t have to. My daughter’s smallest moments of awareness feel like miracles I never take for granted, and my son’s resilience reminds me what courage looks like in real time. In the middle of exhaustion, uncertainty, and love, I get to be the one who holds it all together for them—and that is everything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that love isn’t just something you feel—it’s something you choose, over and over again. It’s showing up when you’re exhausted, standing strong when you’re scared, and giving more than you think you have left. I’ve learned that strength isn’t loud or perfect—it’s quiet, steady, and rooted in unconditional love that never walks away.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use it to give my daughter more access to therapies, tools, and experiences that help her connect to the world in ways she’s still learning to navigate. It would also ease the weight of caring for my aging parents, giving me space to be more present, more patient, and more of the mom and daughter they all deserve.
