Seeing them become great independent people out in the world doing great things while still being there for each other. From being awesome cooks, to being parents that lead with love. They serve others when they see a need. They call home asking for advice, and make time to call regularly. Their Love is the most rewarding part and their time, that they still find to come home. Family holidays together and playing Fortnite daily give us time to chat almost everyday though miles separate us.

Don’t sweat the small things. When I lost my firstborn, while 6 months pregnant with my last I realized that my time was limited, and that they would grow up and leave one day. I learned to cherish the small things and spending time together as a family was crucial. Making as many memories as possible so that they would have those memories to sustain them and make family bonds that were strong and bound by love. In the end I learned being a Mom was a true partnership with God leading the way.

I would have a family meeting and we would decide as a family how to spend the money. I think they would all say let’s do a trip together since we’ve never had a real vacation all together with their Dad because of his work. Making memories to last a lifetime once we are gone. I recently was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cirrhosis, so time has become even more precious. Then there is the need for a new roof so there is no doubt 20,000 would bless me to be able to do neglected home repairs.
